CROSSFIRE
April 2009 Newsletter      Crossfire Internet & LAN Gaming Centre

Welcome to the first of our new monthly members' newsletters. These will be sent out to all of our membership database, current and past members, at the start of each month. If you don't want to receive any e-mails from us, please see the bottom of the page.

Game Stats: Last Month's Winners
The winners of the March stats competition are:

First place overall: Overlord Griffin, who wins 30 Pwnage Points
Second place overall: The Man, who wins 20 Pwnage Points
Third place overall: Mat1, who wins 10 Pwnage Points

...and first place for stats improvement over just the month of March, by a long way, with 3 times as many points as Drayvarco in second place, is Overlord Griffin, who wins a further 25 Pwnage Points. Well done to Overlord Griffin, who takes a total of 55 Pwnage Points to spend on whatever prizes he chooses from the list.

Following general feedback, from next month the points setup will be swapped around. We will be awarding 25 points to the player in overall first place, and 30/20/10 points to the players in first/second/third place for improvement over the month. This way, every month the points will be won by those who have done the best that month, rather than potentially being won by long-time top players who haven't needed to play to stay ahead.

Game Stats Awards: Last Month's Gold Award Winners and Current Title Holders
Well played, The Man, Drayvarco, Pho3nix, Monkiee, Maxlee, Dutak and Vasquez109 for achieving the following Gold Medals during March:

won by The Man

won by Drayvarco

won by Pho3nix

won by Monkiee, Maxlee, Dutak and Vasquez109

As well as the overall skill points, Overlord Griffin is holding multiple titles. He is the current top Light Machine Gunner, Shotgunner, Sniper, Pistolier, Demolitions Expert, and top at Vehicle Support. The title of Top Sub Machine Gunner is currently held by Drayvarco, and the remaining two titles of Top Rifleman and Knife Expert are held by The Man. Drayvarco is moving up the Skill Points table at high speed, currently holding fifth place. The Man and Overlord Griffin have held high spots since the early days of our game stats records, but some solid play could see others closing the gap this month.
