Just wondering if crossfire is open on sunday, and what time is it open if it is; thanks  !

Starcraft 2

More than a decade in the making, the world's favourite real-time strategy game is finally returning. The original is still played by millions but this sequel makes the whole experience accessible and relevant to a whole new generation of players. A new non-linear storyline featuring the human Terrans (expansion packs will cover the other two races, Protoss and Zerg) teaches the ropes and adds to the series' mythos with stunning new cut scenes. It is online that the game really comes alive though, with ranked matches that instantly connect you to a player of the same skill level. Starcraft 2  inclues the most feature packed multiplayer ever with a unique ladder system for ranked games, plus detailed matchmaking options, replay features and more. Whichever way you play though, the game combines all the action and immediacy of an action game with the complex strategy that has made the previous game such a legend.

MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries
Last week we had a return to retro gaming, with this classic from 2002. Available to play on all the gaming PCs. Play for fortune, not honour, as you become leader of a fledgling mercenary company in the latest standalone instalment of the critically acclaimed MechWarrior action-simulator franchise. Players control 100-ton "Mechs" while leading up to eight hired guns into the heat of battle in the quest for the all-mighty C-Bill. Alien Swarm

Alien Swarm is a remake of the old Unreal Tournament 2004 mod, brought up to date in the Source engine. The game thrusts players into an epic bug hunt featuring a unique blend of co-op play and squad-level tactics. With your friends, form a squad of four distinct IAF Marine classes. Plan your attack using an unlockable arsenal of weapons with countless loadout configurations against a wide variety of aliens. Blaze your way through an overrun, off-world colony, eradicating the alien infestation in environments ranging from the icy planet's surface, to a subterranean lava-flooded mining facility.

Yep. A DVD-ROM drive will read CDs and DVDs. A DVD writer, which you might be able to get for a similar price to a basic DVD-ROM drive, will read and write CDs and DVDs.

I wouldn't be surprised if that computer doesn't support SATA at all. Would you be able to take the side panel off and see if you can see any form of model code on the motherboard?

I've had the computer for 2 and a half years, and it was pretty old then. I'm buying the hard drive to replace my pitiful 20GB internal hard drive, but I'm not sure about the DVD-ROM drive. Would a DVD-ROM drive still accept CDs?

Depends.

Both drives can come in IDE (older connector) or SATA (newer connector) types. If your computer is ancient, it might not have SATA ports. If it's newer, you might only be able to connect a maximum of 2 IDE drives to it, but several SATA drives. If you're buying new drives to replace old ones, there can't be any problem if you replace them with the same type, but if you're adding extra drives, just make sure you've got the ports spare first.

If you don't know what ports you've got - do you know the make and model of the motherboard? Or otherwise, any of the specs so I can make some sort of guess?

Right, so I'm trying to upgrade my PC now, rather than immediately buying a new one. Its only a temporary fix, so I don't really want to spend too much.


At the moment, all I want is a new DVD-ROM drive and an internal hard drive. Now, I'll admit it, I'm pretty rubbish when it comes to computers, so I'm just going to ask; if I buy both of those, will they definitely work with my PC?

Im planning on selling my exceptionally good world of Warcraft account.
the account has 2 characters:

Level 80 Human Warrior  (Gear Score just under 6000) Black smith and mining Both 450 / 450
Level 80 Human Warlock ( Gear Score Just Over 5600) Tailoring 433/450  Enchanting 432/450

Both have great gear (most 264 items)

they are both pve characters

the account has over 7000 gold
Warrior has Epic Flying and some exceptionally rare mounts such as the White Swift Hawkstrider
Warlock has standard flying mount but with the gold could be upgraded easily.

I am also happy to say that both characters have a clean slate, no bans.

i am the first owner and also can give the original disks along with the Secret answer and email address.

the reason that i have decided to part with the account is that unfortunately the area that i have recently moved to has a bad internet reception.
